Seasonal Startup Procedures for Batch Machines
- Your machine should be frost tested before you begin to make product.
- Do not install dasher. Connect the water and drain and turn on the water and then the electric.
- The front door must be on the machine in the closed position.
- Turn on the dasher switch to make sure the dasher motor runs.
- If the dasher motor does not run then you need service.
- Turn on the refrigeration switch and allow it to run for about 1 to 2 minutes.
- If you get a full frosted barrel in this time then the refrigeration is good.
- If the barrel does not frost in this time then you need service.
- Shut off both switches and assemble the machine.
- You can now begin to make product.
BE SURE TO DO THE TESTING AT LEAST 14 DAYS BEFORE YOUR
OPENING DAY SO ENOUGH TIME IS ALLOWED FOR SERVICE
