Seasonal Startup - Frost Test

Be sure to complete the test at least 14 days before your opening day. This will allow for enough time for service calls.

• Do not install dasher. Connect the water and drain, and turn on the water & then the electric.
• The front door must be on the machine in the closed position.
• Turn on the dasher switch to make sure the dasher motor runs.
  • If the dasher motor does not run, then you need service.
• Turn on the refrigeration switch and allow it to run for about 1 to 2 minutes
  • If you get a full frosted barrel in this time, then the refrigeration is good.
  • If the barrel does not frost in this time, then you need service.
• Shut off both switches and assemble the machine.
• You can now begin to make product.
